Episode 28: Leigh Corfman, Silence Breaker

Leigh Corfman went public with sexual abuse allegations against Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore in 2017. She was 14 when she says Moore, 32 and an asst. DA, groomed and abused her. Nine other women also came forward with stories of their own. It’s been a difficult road for Leigh, but she says she would do it all over again.

In a case that wrapped up earlier this year, Leigh sued Roy Moore for defamation, saying he painted her as a liar while denying her accusations of child sexual abuse. Moore countersued, claiming that Leigh Corfman’s allegations were false and designed to damage him politically.
